2016 saw a lot of celebrity deaths. David Bowie passed away in early January, while we lost George Michael late December. Not a great year for music fans at all. Michael died at the age of 53 on Christmas day. The video below features a performance that includes both Bowie and Michael together. In 1992, they had joined hands to pay respects to the late Freddie Mercury.
During the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert rehearsals, George Michael decided to sing Queen’s “Somebody to Love”. Everyone in the rehearsal room was out of breath when they heard his powerful vocals. The spectators included David Bowie and Seal. The look on both the singers’ faces is priceless. It seems they are in shock after hearing Michael’s flawless singing.
